Google Inbox AMA: When will we get Responsive Design & Media Query support in Gmail?

Here’s a brief look at the email design related discussion from yesterday’s Reddit AMA with the Google Inbox team. It’s a fairly interesting thread, as aside from some discussion about CSS and HTML support, there’s some wider insights in what users of an email client are interested in.

So TL:DR – media queries/better CSS may be on the way, but there’s lots to do before that.

    This is SO frustrating! They’re developing an app for mobile, surely enabling media query support (you know, the thing that makes emails look nice on MOBILE), would be the biggest priority?
