Usually we’d say that the maximum width of an email should be somewhere between 600 and 700px, but every so often there’s a stand out campaign that can break the best practice and do something really special. This mailing for the Canadian Tourism Commission is one of those. The design team came up with a fun, interactive “maze” for recipients to scroll around, and eventually find the call to action and an extra incentive offer.
Very cool, and definitely one of the most creative email campaigns I’ve seen in 2009!
