Email Inspiration: Flavors.me newsletter

I’m a big fan of Flavors.me – it’s a service where you can set up your personal homepage, integrated with the various social networks you may be a part of. (check out my site here)

Their email newsletter is a great example of a campaign that gets across a lot of information without overloading on copy and images, all wrapped in an attractive design.

The “you’re receiving this newsletter…” text at the top helps explain the context of the email, particularly as the newsletter is only sent every few months, and the overall conversational tone of voice in the copy helps bring a feeling of community, encouraging the recipient to engage with the site.

I too am a big fan of flavors.me
The customizable features and easy to use set up makes it a big win.

Although, why are you receiving the ‘sign up for $20 a year’ part when you already have that option?
Isn’t that a bit of a lack of CRM intelligence fail.
